Q-Will Acoustic adhesives damage my walls?
A- Yes caulking will damage your walls when removed, as it is a permanent solution to mounting foam. If you would like a solution that will leave less of a permanent mark, you should consider T-pins.  

Q- I would like to make a large/custom order, can I contact you and do so?

Q- How fire retardant are Green Gizmo acoustic panels?
A- When exposed to flame it will smolder and self-extinguish. 

Q- What’s the difference between Green Gizmo Acoustic panels and any old foam?
A- Acoustic treatments will help you get the most out of your instruments and audio gear by controlling the shaping of the sound that you produce. Acoustic foam is designed to specifically to absorb certain sound frequencies, regular mattress foam density, flexibility firmness and makeup is different and is not tuned for absorbing sound correctly. Acoustic foam is also fire retardant while mattress foam is typically highly flammable.

Q- Does Green Gizmo sell foam in different colors and do they all meet the same fire retardant standards? Is there anything I should know about ordering colors?
A- Yes we sell foam in a variety of colors and they all have the same fire retardant standards. Colored acoustic foam (other than charcoal gray) will take slightly longer to process and ship.

Q- How long will it take for my order to ship?
A- Acoustic panel orders will take up to 5 days to process before they ship. All acoustic panels are cut to order.
Other things such as guitar and drum accessories will ship next business day.

Q- How should I mount my acoustic panels on my walls?
A- There are many ways in which you can mount the acoustic panel to your walls; however there are things to look out for.

• T-pins- These are a great way to mount foam to your walls because it enables you to remove foam pieces from the wall with no residue from the  glue on your walls or damage to the foam when removing it from your wall.
• Adhesive- A permanent solution for mounting foam to walls. However to maximize the life of your foam and to prevent damage to your walls you should know that some adhesives are harmful to the foam or will not work at all. We sell adhesives that do not damage/corrode the foam. Please note this is a permanent solution to mount and will damage the foam if you try to remove it from the wall.
• Spray adhesive- Another permanent solution, to mounting, effective and will leave less residue if you chose to remove the foam from your walls. However this should still be considered a permanent solution and any adhesive will damage foam when removed from a wall.

Q- I am interested in acoustic treatments; however I don't know what would be best for my room. Can you help?
A- Of course! Provide the dimensions of the room/sound booth and we can help point you in the right direction. Email us here.

Shipping:
Q- How does Green Gizmo ship acoustic panels orders?
A- We compress all acoustic panel orders. This does not damage or distort the panels, however it is recommended that orders be unpacked before 2 weeks.

Q- Will Green Gizmo do international shipping?
A- We will only offer international shipping via custom orders which you must contact us via email (click here). Prices and shipping may be different than our catalog.

Accessories:
Q- Your cymbal nuts are made of plastic; doesn’t that make them vulnerable to breaking from just simple drumming?
A- The plastic used to create them is a very durable and strong material that can take more abuse than a drum stick can put out. The skulls have been tested and held up against extensive play and extreme abuse (including hammer and sledge hammer testing). Our Guitar knobs are made of the same material and are very unlikely to break unless you are trying very hard to destroy them, you know like with a sledge hammer. Guitar Knobs are made of the same durable material.

Q- How can I tell if the guitar/cymbal accessories will fit my guitar/cymbal stand?
A- The cymbal nut fits 8mm posts, the guitar knob fits most standard guitar pots.
